Asian Round Up – The Problem With New Governments
I think Jokowi looks like Obama and I am not alone.
We are nearly in the final leg of 2014 and Asia has 2 new populist leaders in the 2 most populous countries outside of China. It’s no wonder that President Xi (not Eleven, as the poor Indian newscaster had mistook and paid the price for) has been busy traveling to India as Japan got their claws into Jokowi, sending their Foreign Minister there last month.
We get an idea of global sentiments on Asia or rather, Asean, if we look at the performance of their currencies year to date against the almighty USD which is doing home run on the rest of the world.
