CANDLES TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL DAY – USDSGD

A pleasant surprise on Hari Raya Puasa and the National Day , Singapore was rewarded with a big black candle in the USDSGD chart. We have broken into the Ichimoku cloud !

Loong raised his forecast for economic growth to 2.5 percent to
3.5 percent this year, a sign that Southeast Asia is benefiting
from recoveries in the advanced economies.
The government previously predicted growth of 1 percent to
3 percent. The economy expanded 2 percent in the first half, Lee
said in a televised message yesterday on the eve of the
country’s National Day. In 2012, gross domestic product grew 1.3
percent, the slowest pace in three years.”

NTUC Supermarket announced over PA system that at 8:26 pm sharp tonight, they will stop work for 1 minute to sing the National Anthem and say the National Pledge.

Please bring back the foreign talents !  Yesterday I got a taped up 5 dollar note as change from a surly local staff at a Jap restaurant in Star Vista who was very rude to me and my son. We tried to use it in 2 places in the same building with local staff and were rejected. The counter lady at the 4 Leaves Bakery acted like we were going to give her a live grenade !
